US Teenager Pleads not Guilty to Christmas 'Bomb Plot' !!!

 Author: bbc.co.uk

Mr.Mohamud

Job Indonesia - Mohammed Osman Mohamud, 19, was caught in an FBI sting operation on Friday, allegedly to try blowing up what was a fake bomb at the event in Portland. - Job Vacancy

Lowongan Kerja - If convicted, he faces life in prison. He remains in custody and is expected to be tried in February. Mr Mohamud's lawyers say he may have been led by government agents into committing a crime. The bomb Mr Mohamud is alleged to have tried to detonate was a fake supplied by agents in a sting operation.
"The information released by the government raises significant concerns [about the] government manufacturing crime - or entrapment," said lawyer Stephen Sady.
"Government agents suggested key actions to this teenager, spent thousands of dollars on him, specified components, drove Mr Mohamud around, and were instrumental in setting up Friday's events."
Map of Oregon, US
Still the threat was very real, said US Attorney General Eric Holder.
"But for his interaction with the FBI, he might have come in contact with somebody who, in fact, would have made his plans tragically real."
E-mail exchange According to court documents, an FBI undercover agent contacted Mr Mohamud, a naturalised US citizen, in June, pretending to be an associate of a contact in Pakistan he had exchanged e-mails with last year.
It is claimed that when an undercover agent made contact with the young man, he talked of bombing the Christmas tree ceremony.
Mr Mohamud, who lives in the town of Corvallis, drove a van to the ceremony and was arrested at around 1740 local time on Friday (0040 GMT Saturday), before the tree lighting occurred.

GE Buys 25,000 Electric Cars To Kick-Start Market !!!

Author: bbc.co.uk

Lowongan Kerja - It hopes that its purchase of 25,000 electric vehicles will drive the development of a network of charging stations, and other related products, which it produces.

Its first order is for 12,000 Chevrolet Volts, which will start to roll off GM's production lines this month.

GE will use them as company cars and lease them to corporate customers.

It intends to buy the 25,000 cars by 2015. It will use some of them in its own fleet.
The rest will go into its Capital Fleet Services business, which leases cars to corporate customers.

GM said it wanted to "lead wide-scale electric adoption and generate growth for its businesses".

GE's Jeff Immelt said he hope the purchase would "move electric vehicles from anticipation to action".

It predicts that the nascent electric vehicle market could be worth $500m (£310m; 366m euros) in revenue to GM over the next three years.

General Motors Getting Ready For Profitable Future

Author: bbc.co.uk

Job Indonesia - A year-and-a-half after the US automotive giant General Motors (GM) filled for bankruptcy protection, the Cadillac factory in Lansing, Michigan, is still churning out cars. - Job Vacancy

The Grand River Assembly, which lies about 90 miles west of Detroit, is gearing up production, hiring hundreds of new workers and getting ready to start producing a Cadillac that will be both smaller and much less thirsty than those it used to make.

Lowongan Kerja - The model is a powerful symbol of a new beginning for the bruised carmaker after last year's $50bn - £31bn at current exchange rates - bail-out by the US taxpayer.

But symbolism will not do for GM's new chief executive Dan Akerson, a former telecoms executive and naval officer known for his keen, at times even combative, focus on figures.

They are beginning to look impressive. GM made $2bn net profits during the July to September quarter, a dramatic turnaround from a near-$1bn loss during the same period a year earlier.

"The results of the third quarter clearly point to the amount of progress that GM has made," says Mr Akerson, who also has a background in private equity investment.

With sales remaining strong during the last three months of the year, GM expects to make a profit for the year as a whole.

"Although we're a different company, it's worth noting that last time GM reported a profitable year was 1994," Mr Akerson says.

Making better cars
Dan Akerson, chief executive, General Motors Mr Akerson is known as a combative executive who focuses closely on financial figures
With Mr Akerson at the helm, GM is getting ready for the second leg of a long and painful journey.

The first, which was run by his predecessors Fritz Henderson and Ed Whitacre, was all about pushing through a harsh restructuring, all under the watchful eye of a board of directors representing the US government's 61% stake in the group.
The second phase of GM's revival is about to start as the government and its co-owners - the Canadian government and the union - get ready to pass majority control of the company back to private investors.

And it is clear that this phase will have to be product-led.

In recent years, the quality of many of the models made by GM has fallen short of the quality products delivered by many of its rivals, and so the company reputation has suffered a great deal.

Mr Akerson is eager to fix that.

He knows well that building quality cars can be costly, so this year GM has spent close to $5bn on capital expenditure.

Next year, and in the years ahead, Mr Akerson is expected to spend even more - and he is eager to pass on the message.

"We've just started doing a better job in marketing our brands to consumers," he says.

International challenge
But making better cars will not be enough without further changes to GM's corporate culture, as well as a bolstering of morale in a company that has seen tens of thousands of jobs go in a matter of months.
Improved financial risk management is also vital, according to Mr Akerson, who has been pushing for closer monitoring of what profit margins different units within the firm deliver, as well as for a more deliberate approach to currency risk.
And of course, Mr Akerson says, "we continue to be vigilant in reducing cost".
But the biggest challenge will be to rebuild relations with both customers and government officials, workers and dealers, across the pond.
This is particularly important in Germany, the largest car market in Europe, where deep wounds were inflicted last year during lengthy talks with both the unions and the government.
Mr Akerson is fully aware of what needs to be done. "We know we have much work to do. We still have to fix Europe," he says.
Private investors, preparing to buy GM shares, will hope he also knows how to do it.

GM Shares Jump After Record Public Offering

Author: bbc.co.uk

Indonesia Job - Shares in General Motors (GM) have risen 3.6% on the first day of trading following the carmaker's record public share offering.

Job Indonesia - Shares closed at $34.19 in New York from a start of $33, although they did reach a high of $35.60 during the day. - Job Vacancy

GM raised $20.1bn through its offering, making it the largest share sale in the US to date.

President Barack Obama said the firm was on track to recover the government money spent on bailing it out.

The amount raised could rise to a world record $23.1bn if underwriters exercise an option to sell more shares.

Surprisingly strong investor demand had allowed the carmaker to lift the price of the shares on offer to $33 from the $26 it had initially hoped for.

GM is returning to the market after a $50bn government bail-out.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 173 points at 11,183, a rise of 1.6%.
Mr Obama said: "Today, one of the toughest tales of the recession took another big step toward becoming a success story.

"American taxpayers are now positioned to recover more than my administration invested in GM, and that's a good thing."

Canada, which pumped in $10bn and owns 12% of the stock, said it too would seek to recover some of its investment by selling part of its stake.

Different ballpark

The day's trading began on Wall Street when GM chief executive Dan Akerson rang the opening bell on the New York Stock Exchange.

Analysis

This is a very bright start.
The share offering is more ambitious than anyone expected, and the demand for stock seems overwhelming.
Not bad for a company that almost went bankrupt 18 months ago.
But there's still a long way to go if the taxpayers are to get all their money back. The bailout cost them $50bn.
It's thought the government will have to sell its remaining stock at around $50 a share for several years to recoup its investment.
But the bailout was never only about GM. The Obama administration argued that the entire American car industry, with all its associated businesses, was at stake.
So far, the evidence suggests that something is working.
A general revival does seem to be under way, at least in terms of the profitability and competitiveness of the companies involved.
But the cost has been huge: tens of thousands of workers were laid off, plants closed, familiar brands ditched and auto dealers told to look for other work.
And the bailout itself remains hugely controversial, with the administration's critics still seeing it as an unwarranted intrusion of big government into the free market.
It's clearly in the interests of both GM and the White House for the nickname "Government Motors" to become a thing of the past.
"There's a lot of work to do, but today is the beginning of the new company," said Mark Reuss, GM's North American president.
Government officials said the company's strong market debut showed they had made the right choice in rescuing the carmaker.
"This is a bit better than people had been projecting. As to a year ago, it's not even in the same ballpark," Ron Bloom, the Treasury official in charge of the GM investment told Reuters.
"A year ago, people said, 'You have no exit, you have no strategy. This company is not fixed'."
The carmaker has raised $20.1bn from the sale of the shares. However, an over-allotment option, which will be settled over the next 30 days, would add $3bn to that figure, taking GM beyond the $22.1bn raised by the Agricultural Bank of China's market launch.
The share sale, known as an initial public offering (IPO), will allow the US government reduce its current 61% stake in the company to as low as 33%.
GM returned to profit this year for the first time since 2004. The company made $5bn during the first nine months of this year.
Scott Painter from the US car comparison site Truecar.com believes the IPO is a sign of how well the economic recovery is going.
"I think GM having a strong IPO and pricing it at the high end of the range certainly speaks well of America and confidence in America, and GM is a really good indicator of everything that we've been through over the last couple of years and how the recovery is working out," he said.

Why 'Yes' is so hard for the Irish

Author: bbc.co.uk

Job Indonesia - In a radio interview, the Governor of the Bank of Ireland Patrick Honohan confirmed what most people expected - that some kind of bail-out for Ireland seems to be on the way. They may dress it up as a loan for the banks but it will involve tens of billions of euros. Up until the governor's comments, the Irish government was sticking to its line that it did not need rescuing. - Job Vacancy

Lowongan Kerja - And indeed even after the governor had spoken, Irish Finance Minister Brian Lenihan said that his country was not yet at the point of taking a substantial international loan.

Europe's crisis managers, who have been a busy bunch this year, had not envisaged a situation where a country did not want to be bailed out. Quite the opposite. In setting up various rescue mechanisms they feared the profligate, or those who ran up bad debts, would beat a path to their door.

So when last weekend various officials - some close to the European Central Bank - began briefing that it was only a matter of time before Ireland was bailed out, they did not expect such stout resistance from Dublin.

So why did Ireland try and hold out?

The Irish government is fragile. It faces a difficult by-election. Its hold on power is slight. A bail-out, however dressed up, is a humiliation. It is a judgment on the way the government has run the country.
There is a stigma to being rescued. The image of the Celtic Tiger has long disappeared but the Irish still cherish the memory. For some years they had the fastest-growing country in Europe. To be bailed out would wound Irish pride.

Then there are conditions. One of the reasons that Ireland did so well was inward investment - particularly from the US. Large multinational companies were attracted to Ireland by a corporate tax rate of 12.5%. Others in Europe - including the French and Germans - dislike the tax. They believe it gives Ireland an unfair advantage.
Many government officials in Ireland fear that one condition of a rescue would be to give up their low corporate tax rate. A few days ago, Ireland's Europe Minister, Dick Roche, bridled at the very suggestion. "We are in charge of our own taxes," he said. We shall see what the terms of any loan are.
European Commissioner for the Economy Olli Rehn (archive
image)
Then there is the not-so-little matter of sovereignty. Already Irish commentators have focused on the EU Economics Commissioner, Ollie Rehn. When they were not reporting on his visit to an expensive restaurant, they asked: "Is he the most important man in Ireland?" Is this unelected official essentially running the country, was the tone of some of the comment.

There are stirrings of unease here at what Ireland may be giving away. When it was announced that a team of experts from the EU, the IMF and the ECB were coming to Dublin, the opposition leader referred to them as "officials arriving to dictate terms of a bail-out to the government".

Ireland for a long period was enthusiastically European. Many smart people headed to Brussels. They embraced the European identity as a way of distancing themselves from their neighbour Britain. They took great satisfaction in seeing Irish companies buying up big hotels in London.

So there is foreboding as to what a bail-out would signify. One Irish commentator wrote today: "Having obtained our political independence from Britain to be the masters of our own affairs, we have now surrendered our sovereignty to the European Commission."

Brian Lenihan has defended the increasing influence of the officials from Brussels with references to European solidarity. "We share our sovereignty with Europe in relation to currency," he said. "We pool our sovereignty in this area, so if you're pooling your sovereignty, you have to act with your partners in whatever steps you take." Yesterday he spoke of a "very supportive reaction from the wider European family".

What the Irish government is hoping for - if the Bank governor is right - is a narrow deal to restore the liquidity of its banks so they can borrow more easily. That would be less of a humiliation.

It should not be forgotten that when Irish voters were first given a say on what became the Lisbon Treaty they voted "No". Irish independence is both young and keenly felt.

So if the country is forced to accept a full bail-out, questions will be asked about the future. Will Ireland ever regain control over its budget and its economy?
And that is a question being asked not just on the streets of Dublin but in Athens, Lisbon and Madrid.

Ian Martin, writing in the Wall Street Journal observed: "A new model of government without direct accountability to voters is being constructed."
That, of course, is the long-term implication of this crisis. Presuming that the eurozone does not fracture, its flaws are being used to give the European Commission much greater powers of scrutiny and economic management. And this may go further. While everyone focuses on Ireland, Greece and Portugal, the gap between these economies and Germany only widens. The price of saving the euro may be that the stronger countries bail out the weaker - precisely what German voters were told would never happen.

The "ever closer union" that some dream of may be delivered on the back of a battered currency.

Billionaire Donald Trump 'may run for US presidency'

Author: http://bbc.in/a9DN39

Job Vacancy - In an interview with ABC News, the billionaire Republican said he could "easily" spend more than $200m (£126m) of his own money on his campaign. - Lowongan Kerja

Job Indonesia - "It could be fun because I'd like to see some positive things happen for the country," he said.

He added that he would happily take on former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who many believe will join the race.

Mr Trump, who stars in the American version of TV show The Apprentice, said he believed that "everybody's ripping America off".

The 64-year-old real estate mogul singled out China, saying that the country was "getting away with murder" by manipulating its currency.

He said he believed the US was being used as a "whipping post".
"The respect for this country is just not there," he said.

'Led by fools'

"I have many people from China that I do business with, they laugh at us. They feel we're fools. And almost being led by fools. And they can't believe what they're getting away with."

In the interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos, he added that he would probably make his decision by June.

He was asked about the possibility of challenging Mrs Palin, who ran for vice-president in 2008, for the Republican ticket.

"I would take her on. I like her, but I'd take her on," he said.

Mrs Palin has not formally declared that she will stand, but many commentators have said they believe she will.

Five Job Search Tips to Help You Land Your Next Job

By Scott Gordon

Before the bottom fell out of the global economy it was safe to say that if you had 60 percent to 70 percent of the listed requirements on a job description, you had a decent chance of being hired. Back then, the job market was thin on talent, and some employers found themselves grateful to have found someone who could do the job, albeit someone with partial abilities.

The job market is different now. If you're a job candidate you have to conduct your job search differently.

Job Search Tips
Below are five simple job search tips that will put your job search in the fast lane.

1) Don't apply for jobs that you know you can't do.
If you are a Software Quality Assurance specialist, don't apply for a Senior Director of Regulatory Compliance. Read the job description in full detail and only apply to the positions for which you have the skills. It feels good to send out a bunch of resumes, but going through the motions isn't going to yield faster rewards in your job search.

2) Don't embellish on your resume.
Lying on a resume is more obvious today than it ever was. Don't. Many job seekers think that it's perfectly OK to "fib a little" on a resume. Why do you list it if you know you don't have that job skill? I know why-because if makes your resume look stellar. It adds to the already glowing list of things you've accomplished in your professional career. Psych 101 says that the things you've listed nearest the top of a resume and mentioned multiple times are the things you are most comfortable doing. Many job seekers today are straining to add words and tasks so their resume looks better than their competition. But this is going to come back to haunt you in your job search-so don't do it! Highlight what you are best at, but also come clean when asked about something you have not done. Your candor will get your further.

3) Take a pay cut if you have to. Don't price yourself out of the market just because you think you deserve it more than the next job candidate.
Trying to recover from a previous layoff by overpricing yourself is a bad idea. Assume there are 15 other people applying for the same job. You must, must, must be more aggressive in this market. Pride is the 800 pound gorilla-let go of it and land the job even it means taking a small pay cut. The job candidate who is next in line needs the job more than you. A pay cut will not last forever; and you'll recover from the pay cut and be back to where you were soon enough.

4) Apply once and follow up with an e-mail to confirm receipt.
Sending 28 resumes to the same company won't get you a quicker response than sending one resume. My inbox fills up typically between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. with multiple submissions of resumes from the same job seeker. The additional submissions are deleted. The contact management tools of today are smarter than you think; and if you submit more than once, your resume is automatically deleted. Some job search Web sites won't allow you to submit your resume more than once anyway, so make your first shot your best one. After submitting your resume, send a simple e-mail to the contact asking to confirm receipt. Most of the time, you'll get a reply. If you don't...send another e-mail. Recruiters today are averaging 150 to 300 resume submissions per day from job seekers. It's a lot to dig through and takes time, so be patient.

5) Use a job recruiter.
When I say use, I mean use. Find a reputable job recruitment firm and partner with them. Part of what I tell job candidates during interviews is that we are all in this together. Use their contacts and search with job recruiters instead of sitting at home waiting on a call. If you come across a job listing that fits your job skills, call your job recruiter and ask what he or she knows about the company. There's a better than average chance the recruiter will know someone on the inside who might be able to get you in the door faster.

Word to the wise on a job search: If you don't trust your job recruiter, find another one. This is your career, this is how you put food on the table, and this is how you pay your mortgage-don't waste your time with a job recruiter who's only in it for personal gain.

Life Style Sehat di Ajang Internasional

- Indonesia Job

Lowongan Kerja - Menurut Christian Widi Nugraha, Brand Manager L-Men, penyelenggaraan Mister International bertujuan mengkampanyekan gaya hidup sehat bernutrisi.

Thomas Sebastian (25), peserta asal Indonesia sangat menikmati keindahan Pulau Dewata.

Pengarah gaya pun tak kenal lelah berteriak-teriak agar Tim melihat kamera.

Nah, siapa pemenangnya, kita tunggu.

Jet Lag Bisa Bikin Bodoh !!!

"Kondisi Arumi kasihan sekali, sambil nangis. Dengan keadaan tertekan sekali. Saat ini Arumi berada di tempat yang dirahasiakan di Jakarta," tambahnya.

The 10 Worst Job Tips Ever Part II

By Liz Ryan

6. SEND YOUR RESUME VIA AN ONLINE JOB AD OR THE COMPANY WEB SITE, ONLY

Successful job-seekers use friends, LinkedIn contacts, and anybody else in their network to locate and reach out to contacts inside a target employer. Playing by the rules often gets your résumé pitched into the abyss at the far end of the e-mail address talent@xyzcorp.com. If you've got a way into the decision-maker's office, use it. Ignore advice that instructs you to send one résumé via the company Web site and wait (and wait, and wait) to hear from them.

7. NEVER SEND A PAPER RESUME

I've been recommending sending snail-mail letters to corporate job-search target contacts for three or four years now, and people tell me it's working. The response rate is higher, and the approach is friendlier. A surface-mail letter can often get you an interview in a case where an e-mail would get ignored or spam-filtered. One friend of mine sent her surface-mail résumé and cover letter to a major company's COO in New York, and got a call a week later from a general manager wanting to interview her in Phoenix, where she lives. She showed up at the interview to see her paper letter—yes, her actual, signed letter, on bond paper—and résumé sitting on his desk in Phoenix (probably conveyed via an old-fashioned Inter-Office envelope). An e-mail might have ended up in the COO's spam folder.

8. WAIT FOR THEM TO CALL YOU

You can't wait for companies to call you back. You've got to call and follow up on the résumés you've sent. If an ad says "no calls," use your LinkedIn connections to put you in touch with someone who can put in a word with the hiring manager. Don't sit and wait for the call to come. Your résumé is in a stack with 150 others, and if you don't push it up the pipeline, no one will.

9. GIVE THEM EVERYTHING.

Give them your résumé, your cover letter, and your time in a phone-screen or face-to-face interview. But don't give anyone your list of references until it's clear that mutual interest to move forward exists (usually after two interviews), and don't fill out endless tests and questionnaires in the hope of perhaps getting an audience with the Emperor. Let the employers know that you'd be happy to talk (ideally on the phone at first) to see whether your interests and theirs intersect. If there's a good match, you'll feel better about sharing more time and energy on whatever tests and exercises they've constructed to weed out unsuitable candidates. Maybe.

10. POST YOUR RESUME ON EVERY JOB BOARD

This is the best way in the world to get overexposed and undervalued in the job market. (Exception: If you're looking for contract or journeyman IT work, it's a great idea to post your credentials all over.) People will find your LinkedIn profile if they're looking and if you've taken the time to fill it out with pithy details of your background. If you're not employed, include a headline like "Online Marketer ISO Next Challenge" or "Controller Seeking Company Seeking Controller." Your résumé posted on a job board is a spam-and-scam magnet and a mark that your network isn't as robust as it might be. These aren't the signs you want to put out there. Use your network (vs. the world at large) to help you spread the job-search word.

The 10 Worst Job Tips Ever Part I

By Liz Ryan

The world abounds in bad advice for job-seekers. Here are some spectacularly unsound directives. Nearly every day, someone sends me a bit of astounding job-search advice from a blog or a newsletter. Some of this advice seems to come directly from the planet X-19, and some of it seems to have been made up on the spot. Here are 10 of my favorite pieces of atrocious job-search advice, for you to read and ignore at all costs:

1- DON'T WRAP IT UP
The Summary or Objective at the top of your résumé is the wrap-up; It tells the reader, "This person knows who s/he is, what s/he's done, and why it matters." Your Summary shows off your writing skills, shows that you know what's salient in your background, and puts a point on the arrow of your résumé. Don't skip it, no matter who tells you it's not necessary or important.

2- TELL US EVERYTHING
Another piece of horrendous job search advice tells job-seekers to share as much information as possible. A post-millennium résumé uses up two pages, maximum, when it's printed. (Academic CVs are another story.) Editing is a business skill, after all—just tell us what's most noteworthy in your long list of impressive feats.

3- USE CORPORATESPEAK
Any résumé that trumpets "cross-functional facilitation of multi-level teams" is headed straight for the shredder. The worst job-search advice tells us to write our résumés using ponderous corporate boilerplate that sinks a smart person's résumé like a stone. Please ignore that advice, and write your résumé the way you speak.

4- DON'T EVER POSTPONE A PHONE SCREEN
A very bad bit of job-search advice says "Whatever you do, don't ever miss a phone screen! Even if you're in the shower or on your way to be the best man at your brother's wedding, make time for that phone interview!" This is good advice is your job-search philosophy emphasizes groveling. I don't recommend this approach. Let the would-be phone-screener know that you're tied up at the moment but would be happy to speak at 7 p.m. on Thursday night, or some other convenient time. Lock in the time during that first call, but don't contort your life to fit the screener's schedule.

5- DON'T BRING UP MONEY
Do bring up money by the second interview, and let the employers know what your salary requirements are before they start getting ideas that perhaps you're a trust-fund baby and could bring your formidable skills over to XYZ Corp. for a cool $45,000. Set them straight, at the first opportunity.

Job Tips -> Become a Job Magnet

By Sherrie Madia

One of the most frustrating parts of looking for a job is that you have to get other people to at least give you a chance to show them what you've got. Getting in the door is the hardest part.

But when you become an expert, others seek you out. Or, at least, when you knock on the door, at least some people will hear you out for a bit longer if they think you know something that could help them.

You want to be like a magnet-pulling people toward you-instead of having to push yourself on others. By creating good-quality content that helps to promote your expertise, you'll prove that you are also a problem solver. You'll show that you can add value, and therefore others who need what you have to offer will contact you.

Before you say to yourself that you aren't going to put the work into creating content that promotes your expertise, realize that your competition is doing it. In the past, being perceived as an expert was a nice-to-have asset. Today, it's a need-to-have element.

Target Your Employer 'Wish List
Your paper resume, social network profile and social media resume are the message. They are your advertisement--a commercial of you. As part of your preparation for crafting and fine-tuning that message to take advantage of leveraging online social networking and social media channels, you need to know who your audience is. Why? Because it will affect how you present-or, as it is known in marketing-"position"-yourself. So, beginning with the end in mind, and with some direction, ask yourself, "Where do I want to work?"

As you proceed in both your people and company search, you'll come up with new ideas for places you want to work, or you may find that you can't break in to your original targets, so you might modify your targets.

Examples of a 'top X' employer wish list could be the direct competitors to your prior or current firm. However, if you have signed a non-compete agreement, that could get sticky.

Note that while meant to protect a company from customer defections or loss of proprietary intellectual property, at their core, these agreements can be challengeable in court depending on legal precedents and the particular state in which the agreement was executed. That said, no company can legally prohibit you from earning a living. If they choose, big companies with dedicated legal departments and deep pockets can make your life difficult should you choose to test the agreement that you have signed.

Other examples of a top employer wish-list could be key suppliers or vendors to your past or current company, or select distributors/dealers in your firms' sales distribution channel.

The first step is to write down a list of the top 10 companies you'd like to work for. Of course, there is no magic in the number 10-you might have a top 20-but start with a limited set of targets-Ideally, no more than two dozen.
This targeted "short list" is important because it acts as a jumping-off point to your main personal network contacts-those most closely known by you.
You will be communicating this target list to them. If you list too many, you can end up causing confusion and dilute the effectiveness of those who may be able to help you.

Specific Industries and Types of Companies
Beyond writing down your wish list of specific companies, you will also want to think of three or four different types of companies that you are looking to target.

Take your wish list of specific companies, and think of the types of companies that they represent. Also think about grouping them by industry, and then make a list of those firms too.

Here's an example: Let's say you worked for, or are currently with, Dell Computer. You've already made a list of Dell's competitors (HP, IBM, Toshiba, etc.), as part of your wish list).
  • Been a PC lover? How about considering switching horses to Apple, and key MAC product vendors? There's a whole new universe of potential employers there you might never have thought of. Make a list.
  • What about chip/semiconductor manufacturers like Intel and AMD? Make another list.
  • How about monitor manufacturers like Nokia, Samsung, and the like? Make a third list.
  • Or perhaps look at a different angle and go behind the scenes to computer OEMs who sell to the Dells of the world. They make key parts like motherboards, soundcards, graphic cards, and SCSI cards. Keep going! Brainstorm and let your mind run wild.
That's the kind of "lateral thinking" that will propel your job search. Don't filter, and be open to anything because you never know where the next opportunity will come from. It might very well be one you never heard or thought of before.

Don't get too broad. Lack of focus in communicating your target industry of interest to others (e.g., healthcare industry) will get you very little help because it's too vague.

To maximize the help your personal network can provide in your company-search/people-search, your contacts need specific direction. A list of targeted firms does just that. You'll want to narrow that down and say, for example, that you are looking for a position in a company that deals in healthcare medical recordkeeping.

This is not to discourage you from thinking broadly but rather to encourage you to avoid scattering your energies in too many directions.

Job Vacancy Indonesia, Employee
Presentation
During a presentation, you give an oral presentation on your research and the derived results. During the presentation you can use different attachments such as PowerPoint or overhead projector. Why do many people at present?
When does a presentation for a group of people, then the attention you get during your presentation of the group, seem very uncomfortable. The silence during the presentation, the sound of your voice, all eyes are on you and you feel your body respond differently than normal. In short, you feel insecure, and furthermore, you're all alone. At least, that seems so. During a presentation to the audience exactly what you want to hear them say. Otherwise they were not present in your presentation. A presentation, you so nice and interesting to tell and nerves are hereby entirely unnecessary and also lead just wondering.
Another reason for nerves during a presentation can be found in test anxiety. Some people feel insecure about their performance and will therefore present here in the face. Furthermore, a presentation usually seen as a test in which the speaker feels that everything depends on this single presentation. Fear of failure for a presentation you can fix. Often find by following a simple course quickly remedied.Presentation Preparation
To be successful presenting is an essential preparation for your presentation. Just because you really can see from the presentations, the chances are that your presentation (and preparation) until the last minute delays. This is not a good presentation and it will certainly not benefit. Especially not when you have done your presentation, you will find that your nerves are more affected by it during your presentation. How do you prepare for a presentation? By carefully thinking about your topic. Make sure the subject well in your head. Do you remember enough about the subject you are about to present? Read Up. For example, no longer know how to research your thesis had just broken? Read this section is equally well. Once you know enough about the topic, you must ask yourself what your listeners want to tell your presentation. Try this out of your head and just write key words on this. The full launch of a presentation is certainly not a good idea. The main goal is to create a story where you make a chronological format. Make sure that the story in your head right and you can play the story in mind. This can thrive when you're in the shower or the dog walking. This way you learn the story you want to present in your head. Case is that you, the focus on the main hold. If you want eight cases treated during your presentation, make sure you have in mind these eight cases and that you can explain during your presentation. The exact details of this you do not have to scoop. But then you look for yourself the order of eight things to have in your head down. If you do a presentation in this manner are well in your head, your preparation for your successful presentation! The presentation
There you are. For the group, the moment of silence falls and you will begin your presentation. Many sleepless nights might have preceded. And now it's come: you must be present. You have your presentation well prepared, so you have no fear. You start talking and you notice that everyone looks at you. You tell a funny story and you find that the public good pick. Your nerves are cut off. You come back to consciousness and let your nerves. How should you go? Here are some tips for each item that you hold in your presentation can keep.Eye contact during presentation

It can be intimidating, but eye contact during your presentation is a confirmation of your audience's attention. So go do not avoid eye contact. Try as much as possible from person to person about to jump and not too long someone right in his / her eyes to see during your presentation. When someone asks a question during your presentation, make eye contact with the person first and give him / her the floor. Take your time for. The idea is that you start answering the question correctly, so you should fully understand the question. Eye contact is important.Hands
Hold objects, such as a pen or a piece of paper, during a presentation are not recommended. Avoid this as much as possible. If you're nervous, you give through your fumbling with a pen here demonstrate. Do not do it. During a presentation it is just that good to make gestures with your hands. To make the presentation more lively. Do this also in moderation. Beware, lest your hands the key role to play during your presentation.Visual aids to support your presentation
During your presentation, it is advisable to use visual aids SUPPORT. Do not use too much text and be economical with pictures and figures. Be aware that not everyone jumping frog in your PowerPoint presentation just like it. Do you use visual aids during your presentation, make sure that people see your resources. In other words, do not stand for. It sounds very obvious, but it's a common mistake during the presentation. It is positive if during your presentation when you refer to your device, the audience asks if anyone can see it and whether it is legible.
